Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
• Perform patient intake, allergy injections, and skin testing.
• Maintain patient and regulatory records.
• Document and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Licensure / Certification / Experience:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Required BLS Provider Certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• 2 years of experience working in a medical office or setting is preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
